New Wraparound Care Provider from November

We are delighted to be partnering with Camp Epic to provide our breakfast and after-school wraparound care provision from November. This change will enable us to offer an enhanced experience for children, whilst helping us meet the increasing demand for childcare before and after the school day.

For many years, St Peter's has successfully operated its own wraparound care. However, as demand has continued to grow, we have increasingly found ourselves unable to accommodate all families who require places. By working with Camp Epic, we are confident that we can develop and grow the provision over time, with the aim of ensuring as many children as possible can access high-quality wraparound care.

The Camp Epic Difference

Camp Epic operates across multiple schools in Essex and is built around its unique Move Create Play philosophy. Their aim is to create an environment where children enjoy spending time after school, offering a balance of structured activities and opportunities for independent play.

Move

• Sports and active games led by experienced sports coaches.
• Opportunities for children to be active, develop skills and have fun. 

Create

• Creative activities such as arts and crafts, cooking, growing projects and themed workshops.
• Regular opportunities for children to explore new interests and talents. 

Play

• Dedicated spaces for independent play, including activities such as Lego, colouring and other child-led experiences.
• Time for children to relax and socialise with friends. 

Breakfast Club

The Healthy Hearts Breakfast Club will run each school day from 7:30am to 8:45am.

Children will be provided with:

• Cereal or toast
• A drink
• A range of games and activities before the start of the school day 

After-School Club

The after-school provision will run Monday to Friday and offer a variety of activities through the Move. Create. Play. programme. Children will be able to choose from a range of engaging experiences, delivered by dedicated staff in a safe and supportive environment.

Booking Information

Bookings are now live. Families can register and make bookings directly with Camp Epic. We strongly recommend registering as soon as possible to secure places. 

Please note:

• The school will continue to manage wraparound care bookings for sessions until the end of this half term.
• From sessions from November, all bookings must be made directly through Camp Epic.
• Initial capacity is limited, so early booking is advised.

We are excited to be working with Camp Epic and look forward to seeing our children benefit from an engaging, high-quality wraparound experience. 

Current fees will increase in September 2026 (prior to CAMP EPIC taking over in November)

Breakfast Club: £7.00 per day inclusive of breakfast

After School Club: £8.50 until 5 pm and £13.00 until 6 pm. For a second child the cost will be £7.50 until 5 pm and £12.00 until 6 pm.

For children being collected late after each session, there will be a late collection for both 5 pm and 6 pm collections. The charge will be a standard fee of £5.00 with an additional charge of £1.00 per minute thereafter.
